Coastlines
In 2019 Hurricane Dorian hovered over the islands of the Bahamas, devastating a small island community that artist Terry Boutelle had visited several times and felt a strong connection with. In “Coastlines” she has extrapolated from aerial photographs she had taken while flying to the islands, using these images to abstract the idea of coastal vulnerability and communities at risk with sea level rise.
